Mind Power: Are You Unconsciously Sabotaging Yourself?

I’ve been following a story in the news….a story that had a very ugly beginning. Since it was such an ugly story, I only skimmed it.

Here’s what happened. A family was driving from a spot of recreation and they were shot at by a man and wife who had signs on their property saying that trespassers will be shot.

Several of the family members were injured. One of the children, a seven year old boy, died from his injuries.

Now that has to be terribly devastating for a parent, right? I can only imagine how that would affect me, but I won’t go there.

Instead, let’s go to how the story turned beautiful.

The father of the boy who died, a son named after him, became concerned about the children of the couple who fired the shots.  That couple has two children who attend the same school district as his children. And he knows those children as well as their parents.

Knowing that the parents were jailed, he went to the school district’s offices to find out if anyone was taking care of the children. And he learned that they were being taken care of by their grandparents.

Because he takes his role as a father very seriously, he thought of other families experiencing a loss. So he and his wife decided to donate their son’s organs…

At least three children’s lives were saved as a result of that very difficult decision.

So what does this have to do with you?

What choices are you making in your life?

Are you finding happiness from the choices you make?

Are you dwelling on your pain or on your boredom? That’s not a wise thing to do…Is it?

The more you talk about your pain or about being bored, the more of that you’ll attract.

Remember the Laws of Attraction!

Why not decide to focus on how you want to feel? Successful people are really good at making decisions.

Are you clear on what you really want? Really clear?

If you don’t know, then you’ll continue to get more of what you’ve been getting.

Isn’t it time to use your mind power to work for you instead of against you?

You’ve been given free will. Make wise use of it.

I know it’s not easy to do. That’s why I continually study about how to be better.

You should do that, too.

Perhaps these song lyrics I wrote for ‘Could She Be You?’ will inspire you:

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

She is immersed in learning more
from those who took her path before,
who chose to teach and model for
those who seek their open door.

Could you be her?  Could she be you?

    Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
I think happiness will be depend on our self.
My mom always told me “Be careful what you wish for”
It took so long for me to understand why she kept saying that to me.
Now I understand that happiness is all about how we control our mind of our wishes.
